Fees & Policies
Registration Fee: A one-time $50 non-refundable deposit is due at time of registering to confirm your child’s spot.
Monthly Fees: Monthly fees are required via pre-authorized debit on the first of each month. A PAD form, along with our welcome package, will be emailed to you once your registration fee has been paid.
Withdrawal Policy: We require 45 days written notice for withdrawal. For example, if you are leaving on December 1st, notice must be given on or before October 16th otherwise your December fees will still be due.
Waitlist Fee: Due to the current high demand of child care, a fee of $20 will be required to join our waitlist.
Meals & Snacks: Meals and snacks are not provided. Parents are required to send a hearty lunch and snacks daily. A fridge, microwave, and toaster are available and program staff are happy to help heat up lunches if needed. The program will provide emergency snacks in the event that a child has run out of food.
Affordability Grant: Little Steps is part of the Alberta Government’s Affordability Grant program which enables us to lower our fees to $15 per day for all children in our program from 0 to kindergarten age. Parents do not need to apply to benefit from the grant fee reduction. The flat monthly parent fee for all children in our program 0 to kindergarten age is $326.25. For more information, click HERE.
Subsidy: Subsidy is no longer available for children 0 to kindergarten age, but does remain available for families with children in grades 1 to 6 who earn under $90,000 gross annually. For more information, click HERE.

Please complete the registration form for your preferred location using the links below. Application forms must be filled out in their entirety. Once your forms have been submitted, a member of the Little Steps team will contact you within 48 hours to confirm your child’s placement.
