We Are Their Home Away From Home
We realize that finding the right child care program can be a stressful and emotional process. When our families arrive at our centres, they enter into a warm and welcoming family environment, where they are greeted and made to feel like an important part of the Little Steps community.
Little Steps centres offer a uniquely warm, inviting, and child-centered environment that is welcoming, fun, exciting, stimulating, creative, and safe. Our classrooms are purposefully designed to evoke peace, tranquility, and harmony in a beautiful and simplistic way that encourages exploration, discovery, and imagination.
We are committed to providing high quality child care that promotes a positive, safe, loving, nurturing, and home-like atmosphere where the health, safety, and well-being of our students is our top priority. Our educators are intentional about their environments, allowing children to feel safe in a kind and loving place, and one where they are able to express themselves freely. Through soft music, cozy furniture, natural materials, and calming colour palettes, our environments are made to feel like your child’s home away from home!
We Have An Open Door Policy
Parent involvement is a big part of our program! We encourage our families to be actively involved in their child’s day and welcome your feedback and suggestions to help better our program.
We understand providing a strong educational foundation for your child is one of the most important responsibilities associated with parenthood, which is why we have an open-door policy where you are welcome to pop in at any time to check on your child and to ensure our program is meeting your needs.
Our open door policy is meant to help ease some of the anxiety that comes along with leaving your child in someone else’s care and helps us foster a relationship that is built on transparency and trust. We know that by promoting family engagement, we are enhancing our children’s development, academic achievement, social-emotional skills, and overall well-being.
So, whether it’s for volunteering on a field trip, stopping by to give your child a hug, or attending a special event, parents and families are always welcome in our program!

We Support Our Teams
We strongly believe that a well-supported team and proactive employees are the perfect ingredients for a solid workplace culture and important for our overall success. That’s why we employ a strong, experienced management team to help support and celebrate our frontline workers to ensure they feel valued, appreciated, and respected.
Our diverse staff of educators come with extensive backgrounds in Early Childhood Development and are dedicated to the creation of child-centred, hands-on, play-based environments for young children. They provide a wonderful blend of experience and knowledge and have a passion for positively impacting the lives of young children. All Little Steps staff are Alberta certified and possess a current First Aid Certificate and Police Clearance.
Our goal is to employ a happy, caring, and committed team of educators who, like us, share a passion for early childhood education. We strive to make every Little Steps employee feel valued and appreciated, and provide them with a sense of belonging where they are free to be themselves and continue peacefully down their professional journey.
